1977 – Graduated from the Fine Arts Faculty of Nanjing Fine Arts Academy

1987 – Appointed as Vice-Principal of Nanjing Academy of Calligraphy & Painting

1988 – Appointed as 2nd Grade National Artist, China

1992 – Appointed as 1st Grade National Artist, China

1993 – Appointed as Deputy Principal of Nanjing Academy of Calligraphy & Painting
